Second Students is the youth ministry of Second Baptist Church for 6th - 12th grade students.

Empowering the Next Generation

Our mission is to empower students to build a strong foundation of faith, guiding them to grow spiritually, connect with others, and become confident followers of Jesus who make a difference in the world.

Weekend Services

Bible Study

Every weekend students hear truth from God’s Word that’s relevant to their lives, followed by small groups with peers and adult leaders where they process life, faith, and following Jesus together.

Ministry Residency Program

The Residency program at Second Baptist Church is designed to prepare and equip college and seminary graduates to serve and lead in and through the local church.

JHigh and High School meet separately on Sunday mornings (and Saturday night at North Campus) for Bible Study. Each group starts with teaching and then moves into small groups to discuss and apply God’s Word.
LIVE is our midweek gathering with worship and a message designed to help students grow in faith and build community.
Yes! Our annual Mountain Retreat, Creek Week, Fall Riot, and mission opportunities give students the chance to recharge, connect with friends, and grow spiritually.
Students can serve in ministry, volunteer at events, and participate in local or global outreach opportunities.
